It's great to hear that you have enjoyed the blog! Colin was indeed modest about his work and his influence. I think he would be genuinely surprised to hear just how many of his students have commented, on the various blogs and social media posts, about how long-lasting his influence has been on them personally.

It is great to see and read about the work of Colin Moss. I was a student of his in the late 1970’s just before he retired. I have never forgotten his teaching, his discipline and his passion for observed accuracy. After art college I followed his path into teaching and I am still a devotee of life drawing. Colin Moss never revealed his art pedigree to us as students and it was only sometime later I found out about his art legacy. I haven’t forgotten those times in the life class, I remember when we were drawing if he didn’t say anything to you and just passed by that was a real compliment! You knew you were on the right track! I have followed his desire for accurate observation in my teaching and my drawing. Colin Moss was and is a true inspiration.
