One of my mother's best friends lives in Bradford
They met ea other I think in the late 50s when worked at Philip and Pipers in Ipswich
My mum was born in Felixstowe they have remained friends even after mom married my dad who stationed at Bentwaters AFB they moved away then moved back to England stationed at Upper Heyford AFB then Bentwaters AFB. I remember visiting my Aunt Jennie that's what my brother and I called her, and her husband Cecil and two children many times. We also lived with them for a few months in the summer of 76 waiting on housing . I remember it was hot that summer. They lived across from a river which I swam in .I remember walking over this walkway to get there and also to go to the village shops buying sweets going to the butcher's and supermarket. I loved Bramford and Ipswich too. We left in England in 79 my parents went back a few times as well as my brother I have not unfortunately although I wished I could have. I have fond memories from living in Suffolk County
